The fine print
Terms for this little demo.
Plain-language boundaries for browsing a static Halloween gift-shop concept with no live sales or checkout.
Last updated: October 28, 2026 · Demonstration terms1. Using the site
These terms apply when you browse the Gloam & Gable static demonstration website. By using the interactive features, you agree to use them lawfully and not to interfere with the files, attempt unauthorized access to a hosting environment, or misrepresent demo products as actual offers.
If you do not agree with these terms, you can stop using the site. Reading the static pages requires no account or personal information.
2. Demonstration status; no sales contract
Gloam & Gable is a storefront design concept, not a confirmed operating company in this delivery. The site does not accept orders, payments, reservations, or shipping instructions. No click on “Save to gift list,” “Copy my list,” or “Prepare email draft” creates a purchase, reservation, subscription, or other sales contract.
No licenses, physical premises, staff, inventory, carrier accounts, or verified customer-service operations are claimed.
3. Illustrative products and prices
Product names, descriptions, contents, images, and USD prices are created for demonstration. They may be changed or removed and do not constitute binding offers. Product photography is concept imagery; it should not be treated as evidence of manufactured stock or exact retail packaging.
Food, bath, candle, children’s, and other product concepts are not supplied with verified ingredients, allergens, warnings, age grading, safety testing, or regulatory documentation. Do not rely on the descriptions for health, safety, or purchasing decisions.
4. Local gift-list feature
The gift list stores product IDs in your browser when storage is available. You are responsible for reviewing copied text before sharing it. Browser settings, private modes, file permissions, clearing site data, or device changes may remove the list. The feature is provided without a promise of permanent retention.
A copied gift list is not proof of inventory, pricing, an order, or a transaction.
5. Contact and email-draft tools
The contact form validates text locally. It does not send a message to a server or guarantee that an email application is installed. Opening a draft does not send it; you decide whether to send through your own provider.
The email address gloamgable.parcels42@gmail.com and telephone number (207) 555‑0148 are demonstration details. The email is unverified and the phone uses a reserved fictional 555 line. Do not rely on them for urgent, legal, financial, or customer-service communications.
6. Site content and acceptable use
The site’s brand concept, copy, layout, and local concept imagery were created for this project. No third-party store text or brand assets are intentionally included. If you adapt this project, replace the demonstration details and review all content for your own use case.
You may browse and use the local gift-list and copy features for personal evaluation. Do not introduce malicious code, use the demo to mislead buyers, or present its fictional contact information as verified business credentials.
7. Availability and external software
The static files are provided as a design demonstration without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every browser, or fitness for a production retail launch. Features depend on browser capabilities such as JavaScript, local storage, native dialogs, and clipboard permissions.
Email applications, telephone applications, hosting providers, and other software you choose are governed by their own terms. This project does not control their availability or practices.
8. Changes and demonstration contact
These terms should be reviewed and replaced with business-specific terms before any real sales, accounts, payments, or data collection are introduced. Material updates should be accompanied by a revised date.
Questions about the design project can be prepared through the contact page. That tool does not itself send or create a support ticket.
